Michigan Trial and Appellate Courts
I am a member of the State Bar of Michigan, which means I can practice law anywhere in the state trial or appellate court system. The lion’s share of my state court cases are in the regions listed below. I do, however, handle cases outside of those regions, and am more than willing to travel from my office in Ann Arbor to attend to my clients’ legal needs elsewhere.

Federal Trial and Appellate Courts in the Midwest
I also regularly handle cases in the federal court system. I am currently admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, Western District of Michigan, Southern District of Indiana, and Northern District of Illinois. The federal system is unique in that an attorney can become admitted in any district so long as they are admitted to practice in a state. I have sought and obtained bar admission in additional federal district courts to be able to handle client matters there, so if you have a matter outside of one of the districts I am already admitted, do not let that dissuade you from contacting me regarding the potential representation.
I also represent clients in appeals in the federal court system. Thus far, these matters have concentrated in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which covers appeals from federal district courts in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I am also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, which covers appeals from the federal district courts in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. As with federal district court admissions, I have sought and obtained bar admission in new federal circuit courts to be able to handle client matters there. Consider that an option if you are interested in my potential representation.
Statewide in Non-Litigation Matters
Not all of my work is in court related. Clients also have sought my representation for real estate, business, and other transactions, to seek advice about situations that have not or may not develop into litigation, and regarding other legal matters. There are few geographical limitations for such matters, and I have rendered these services to clients across the State of Michigan.
